Notes From Narnia

Once more I have passed through the Wardrobe from the land of Spareroom into Narnia. The Queen of Narnia is on her throne and the eternal winter is in full throws. The temperatures are falling daily and the frequency of the snow showers/flurries is increasing. Obviously the Queen is very angry with the creatures of Narnia.
I see the creatures of Narnia every day moving around with bent heads against the blowing snow and freezing winds, trying to get on with their lives the best they can. Since the Queen returned there is no longer laughter of children in the park near my humble abode, just an eerie silence and an occasional pitiful howl from a passing dog.
All the birds have left and all the green has gone.

There is a rumor that Aslan will return......sometime next June.

Or maybe Harry Potter could accio some butter beers and chocolate frogs to you. You might want to watch out, the empty park, howling dogs, and frozen ground may actually be the effects of nearby Dementors. Better practice your patronum. Yours is shaped like a giant wedge of stilton, right?
